Council Meetings

Public Attendance

Council meetings are open to the public. Although there are no longer maximum density requirements in place due to COVID-19, please consider your own personal circumstances and vulnerabilities before attending in person.

Members of the public wishing to attend are asked to register online using the online booking system (Below).

If you experience issues with the booking system, you can contact us on 03 6217 9500 to speak to the Corporate Support team who will be able to register for you.

Registration will open at 9.00am on the Thursday before the meeting.  On the evening of the meeting doors will open at 6.40pm with attendance preferred by no later than 6.50pm to allow time for seating of attendees prior to commencement of the meeting.

If you have registered but no longer wish to attend, please advise contact us prior to the meeting.

Deputations/Public Questions

If you wish to make a deputation, please contact the Corporate Support Team on 6217 9523 or 62179524 by noon on the Friday prior to a council meeting.

Questions on Notice are to be submitted in accordance with council’s Public Question Time procedures.

Public questions without notice proposed to be presented to a meeting are to be provided in writing to clarence@ccc.tas.gov.au by 4 pm on the day of the meeting. These will be read out during the relevant section of the agenda.
