Council Offices
The Council offices are closed to the public and all services have been moved to online and telephone in light of COVID-19 measures. The offices will be unattended during the Easter period from close of business on Thursday 9 April until 8.30 am on Wednesday 15 April.
After Hours Services
For all emergency services after hours including roads and stormwater, please ring 03 6217 9700.
Dog and Animal Control
For urgent matters outside normal office hours please ring the after hours number 03 6217 9700.
Garbage Collection
Normal collection of garbage, recyclables and greenwaste will take place over the Easter period, including Good Friday.
Collections will commence in all areas from 6.00am so residents are reminded that bins must be placed on the roadside before 6.00am.
Mornington Waste Transfer Station
The Mornington Waste Transfer Station will be closed on Good Friday (10 April) and will be open from 8.30am until 4.00pm on the following days:
- Saturday, 11 April
- Sunday, 12 April
- Monday, 13 April
Other days will be as per normal operating hours (7.30am to 5.00pm weekdays, 8.30am to 4.00pm weekends and public holidays).
Rosny Child Care Centre
The centre will close at 5.30pm on Thursday, 9 April and re-open at 7.30am on Wednesday, 15 April.
Children’s Services – Alma Street
(Family Day Care, Outside School Hours Care and Holiday Care)
The Children’s Services office will close at 5.00pm on Thursday, 9 April and will re‑open at normal time on Wednesday, 15 April.
The holiday program will operate at Lindisfarne Primary School and Montagu Bay Primary School from Wednesday 15 April to Friday 24 April from 8.00am until 6.00pm.
Clarence Community Volunteer Service
The Volunteer Service will close at 2.30pm on Thursday, 9 April and will reopen at 9.00am on Wednesday 15 April.
