Council has resolved to make a new By-Law about highways standards in the municipality to replace the existing By-Law which expires in December 2024.
The primary objective of the proposed By-Law is to prescribe standard requirements for the construction of local highways and crossings and the regulation of works in highways in the municipality.
A Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) has been completed which explains the proposed By-Law in more detail.
