To accommodate our growing region and ensure your waste is collected in a timely manner we have created a new collection area called Howrah West. This is for properties between Wentworth Street, Shoreline Drive, Clarence Street, and South Arm Highway.
For homes located in the new Howrah West zone and your green waste (garden organics) will be collected on the following days:
- 24 October 2024
- 7 November 2024
- 5 December 2024
- every 4-weeks there after
The collection day will still be on Thursdays and there is no change to general waste and recycling bin collections in this area.
