We are seeking a passionate Youth Engagement Officer to join our Youth Services Team.  The purpose of the team is to support young people’s involvement and participation in the life of the city.  The team strives to identify youth needs and facilitate the development and implementation of strategies to meet those needs.

The key purpose of this role is to work collaboratively and constructively with young people and other stakeholders to support and enhance youth participatory structures, engagement and health and wellbeing. 

The Youth Engagement Officer will be pivotal in maintaining a high standard of service delivery in the provision of information, advocacy referral and outreach programs and initiatives in the city that respond to and are reflective of the culturally diverse nature of young people.

The role is ongoing on a part-time basis and requires 25 hours per week to be spread across the week, to be negotiated with the successful candidate.

A base salary between $75,071.65 and $86,731.41 (pro rata) will be negotiated (dependent on skills and experience) with the preferred candidate + 12.5% superannuation.
