Looking for a dynamic and supportive part-time opportunity in local government? Join our friendly and collaborative team as an Admin and Data Officer, where you’ll help keep things running smoothly and play a vital role in supporting our Information and Data Services Group.
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person, responding to general enquiries and requests.
- Maintain and update council records, databases, and document management systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare, proofread, and process correspondence and documentation in line with organisational standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks including purchase orders, invoice processing, and group email monitoring.
- Support internal teams with system development tasks, including process documentation and testing.
About you
- Proven administrative experience and sound understanding of office systems and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for customer service.
- Highly organised, with great time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident using digital tools and systems to support your work and collaborate with others.
- A flexible, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to contribute where needed.
What we offer you
- Base hourly rate between $38.50 and $44.48 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 11.5% superannuation
- Fixed term: 6-month contract/part-time: 18.75 hours per week
- Work pattern negotiable
