In this session, we will honour International Day of People with Disabilities by engaging in activities that help us better understand some of the sensory and physical experiences faced by people with disabilities.

Through artmaking while blindfolded or without the use of one arm, we’ll explore how limitations can shape creativity and daily life. Explore sensory play with slime and engage in a different kind of tactile experience.

These activities are designed to build empathy and raise awareness, while remembering that disability is a diverse experience, and each person’s journey is unique. Let’s celebrate the resilience, strength, and richness that people with disabilities bring to our communities.

Snacks provided.

We ask that you please reserve a spot or call Rosny Library on 6165 6448 if you need help making a booking. If you are no longer able to make an event, please let us know so that others don’t miss out.
