A quintessential celebration of summer in southern Tasmania, this full day of free, family-friendly activities is back with heaps of beach games, food and drink vans, sand sculptures, and a full day of live music including the incredible Cumbia band La Descarga from Victoria, who will be leading a massive Comparsa (Columbian parade featuring live music and dance) from 2.15pm – and everyone’s invited!
Community members are encouraged to bring along a picnic rug, beach toys, and a picnic, or enjoy the delicious selection of food and drinks available for purchase on the day, and don’t forget to slip, slop slap!
Also, please be aware that parking at the event site is extremely limited so we do encourage you to walk, take the bus, catch the ferry (more info below), or ride a bike to the event!
This is an all ages, family-friendly event and is free to attend.
