Council Meetings

Public Attendance

Council Meetings are open to the public. Although there are no longer maximum density requirements in place due to COVID-19, please consider your own personal circumstances and vulnerabilities before attending in person.

Members of the public wishing to attend are asked to register via the on-line booking system.  Please book your ticket below or by clicking on this link https://events.humanitix.com/clarence-city-council-meetings. If you experience issues with the booking system, you can contact us on either 6217 9523 or 6217 9524 and we can register for you.  Registration will open at 9.00am on the Thursday before the meeting.

On the evening of the meeting doors will open at 6.40pm with attendance preferred by 6.50pm to allow time for seating of attendees prior to commencement of the meeting.

Deputations

Applications for deputations will need to be received by noon on the Friday before the council meeting.  As numbers are limited please call the numbers listed above to apply to speak at the meeting.

 

Public Question Time

Questions on Notice are to be submitted in accordance with council’s public question time procedures Public Question Time – City of Clarence : City of Clarence (ccc.tas.gov.au). Questions without notice may be asked in person at the council meeting.  Please refer to council’s public question time procedures for further information about asking a question.

 

Viewing the Council Meeting

Meetings will be livestreamed via a link on council’s Facebook Page and website and an audio-visual recording will be published to council’s website.

The Agenda will be available here, on the Thursday before the meeting.
