Clarence City Council inspects sportsgrounds regularly to ensure they are suitable for use (excluding weekends and public holidays).
GROUND CLOSURES: If grounds are not closed by council and circumstances change (e.g. weather deteriorates on the weekend), the decision to play or not will remain with the umpires/clubs/associations. However, the club should be aware that if the ground is damaged by play going ahead there is a possibility it will be closed for training during the week/s following.
