Planned Ecological Burn for grassland managed under the Brinktop Reserve Bushfire Management Plan.
Under Clarence City Council’s Bushfire Management Plan for Brinktop Reserve, we will be undertaken an Ecological burn.
Please see attached map for location of proposed work area.
The objective of the work is to maintain native grassland structure and floristics. Also to reduce the spread of introduced grasses.
The Ecological burn is planned to occur between Monday the 20th and Tuesday the 21st of May 2024 subject to suitable weather conditions. Work during this time would be undertaken between the hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm.
Council advises that during the Ecological burn access to the circuit Track will be closed for safety reason. For the duration of the work please follow any signage or instruction from council staff.
