Under Clarence City Council’s Bushfire Management Plan for Bedlam Walls Reserve, we will be undertaking an Ecological burn (please see map below for location)
The objective of the work is to maintain native grassland structure and floristics and also to reduce the spread of introduced grasses.
The Ecological burn is planned to occur between Tuesday the 7 and Thursday the 9 of May 2024 subject to suitable weather conditions. Work during this time would be undertaken between the hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm.
Council advises that during the Ecological burn access to Shag Bay and Takara Limuna Track will be closed for safety reasons. For the duration of the work please follow any signage or instruction from council staff.
