Consultation is now open on the draft Little Howrah Beach Master Plan.

The master plan sets out a vision for the Little Howrah Beach area and will aim to transform Little Howrah Beach from its current state into a vibrant beachfront precinct that supports a variety of activities and recreation.

The plan includes an upgrade to facilities, activated community spaces and improved accessibility.

Ultimately, the master plan will further establish this much-loved area as an integral part of Clarence’s recreation network, creating new benefits and opportunities for the community to enjoy.

Council recognises the enormous value placed on Little Howrah Beach by both the local Howrah and Tranmere communities, people from across Greater Hobart and various special interest groups, such as kayakers and swimmers.

Before we put pen-to paper on the draft master plan, we heard directly from the people who use Little Howrah Beach to better understand the issues, opportunities and ideas that will shape the master plan.
