Throughout 2021 and 2022 Chambroad has provided council with project updates as committed. These updates have been tabled publicly at council meetings and discussed in open meeting.

Council meeting outcome: Council does not consent to Kangaroo Bay development extension
Clarence City Council, at its meeting last night, did not consent to the extension of time request made by Chambroad in relation to the Kangaroo Bay hotel and hospitality school development, with Council also resolving not to accept a Modified Development proposal put forward by Chambroad.

Clarence City Council rejected a request by Chambroad for an extension of time to the buy-back option for land at Kangaroo Bay to allow it to consult with the community on a new proposal, at its meeting last night.
14 September 2023 Clarence City Council responds to Minister on Kangaroo Bay major project submission
Clarence City Council has provided its response to Chambroad’s application for its Kangaroo Bay development to be declared a major project by the State Government, to the Minister for Planning.
